The Cassis open platform smart card infrastructure enables the card issuer to offer application download onto the chip card after the card is issued. This allows the cardholder to customize the chip card to suit his or her lifestyle, making it an integral part of the cardholder’s everyday life. Through the Internet or other kiosks, cardholders is able to dynamically interact with the smart card, allowing them to enjoy the latest applications, services and marketing offers.
